Are you there world? It's me, Gabi

Let’s face it--I’m the most un-spontaneous person ever. The only way I can breathe is if I have everything is planned out to a “t”; hell I make lists about making lists! I wouldn’t go as far as labeling myself as OCD or anal retentive, but I’m thisclose. A few weeks I got into the athletic training program (boo. yah.) which was not only one of the happiest moments in my life, but the biggest weight off my shoulders because now I can continue on the path I have planned out for the rest of my life. A few days later, I did probably the most uncharacteristic thing ever, I decided to last minute apply to the study abroad program…in Taiwan. Last minute as in, the application was due in December. Last minute as in, the time between my decision and hopping on a plane spans a little over a month. Yes, that’s right, May 16th, my compulsive list making little butt will be on the way to Taipei.

I’m starting this under the pretence of chronicling my journey in Taiwan and athletic training land for everyone (because I’m lazy and don’t want to send eighty bajillion emails), but actually I think I’m hilarious and just like to talk about myself…a lot. But for now I suppose I should focus on Taiwan and my adventures leading up to it.
