"that's my no no spot"

Today was an absolute bad chi day. Real bad. Woke up to Megan pounding on our door. Naturally I thought she was waking us up to run, which we were definitely not planning on doing anyhow, so I yelled "not coming, go away" to which she replied "uhhhh it's 7:30". After a few choice words from both Gina and I, we managed to throw on clothes, make an attempt at brushing our teeth, and while I grabbed my bag, Gina proceded to lock all her belongings INCLUDING the key inside her suitcase. Lovely. At this point it's probably about 7:40, and Dr. Brown comes a knocking. We tell her we're coming while we try to muster up the strength to pry open the lock. Fail. I run out to tell Dr. Brown what happened while Gina sits in the room and hates life. We decide to cut our losses and begin our journey to breakfast. After a while, walking in complete silence, I step on slippery moss and completely eat it. The morning is off to a great start. We finally get to this really cute breakfast spot where our food, and the rest of the group, is waiting. I barely eat, which is quite uncharacteristic of me, since I'm still so wound up from Gabi and Gina's adventures in bad chi.

The few bites I had were actually pretty good. It was an omelet filled with cheese that was wrapped inside of a thin crepe. The sauce on the side was a chunkier, less spicy version of siracha. We also had chocolate toast, which was like 2 pieces of crustless white toast with nutella minus the hazelnuts inside.
After breakfast we trekked to class where we finished up learning about origin point therapy. Today we learned about about the points on the back, sacrum, legs, feet, and hands. Aka we grabbed a whole lot of butt. It was the most awkward/painful/ticklish/violating class I have ever experienced in my whole life. Gina agrees. Sadly, getting elbow deep in each other's no no spots was no where near the end of our roomie bonding for the day.
Lunch was incredible-direct quote from Gina, who is Asian, so we know it's good. We had a bunch of different dishes, mostly dumplings, spread out family style on a lazy susan. Rachel and I discovered "honey herbal jelly drink", which is exactly what it sounds like: it tasted like herbed honey (duh)and as demonstrated by Rachel and I, had little cubes of jelly in it.

After lunch we had clinical in the training room, where we learned a little, but basically passed three hours by teaching the NTSU students "that what she said" jokes, bad words, and playing on the balance balls and other equipment.

Once again it was feeding time-it was a beef stew noodle soup. I mostly just slurped the broth because the noodles were aggravating me. Good thing I ate light, because when we went to see little kids put on a dragon dance performance, some asian students were so intriguied by us americans and gave us boatloads of candy and took like eighty bajillion pictures. I like candy, so I didn't mind.
Tonight's activity was yoga. Chanelling my inner Ellen Naumann,I warrior posed like a champ, and got so into the meditation part, that I completely passed out. Gina did too, but unlike me, she actually woke up when the lights came back on. I did not. My slumber continued until the entire class yelled my name and scared me to death. One would think, this was enough hilarity for one day. Nope, not yet. After yoga we embarked on a laundry extravaganza. After going to three floors, we finally found two washing machines that worked AND turned into a human washing machine to wash our clinical polos that bled like no other.
Overall, today has been a great success....NOT
